The Ganges Plain is about 1500km long that spread across the states of UP, Bihar, West Bengal. Ramganga, Gomathi, Karka, Yamuna are such rivers from the North-East. Son sambal, Beetva are such rivers from South. Large amouns of sediments have formed in this area.
